Hello!

I'm Ben, the person in charge of all things here at Nightbirdsevolve.

I'm an indie developer from France 🇫🇷, with a passion for music & tech.
I write software for the Apple platforms as an author and freelance consultant, currently focusing on the Mac.

In summer of 2013, after a few years spent making flash websites and games in a local web agency, I decided to try my hand at building a solid music tag editor for the Mac. I wanted to build an iconic app that would feel right at home on macOS, that I would use myself, so I made Meta.

Meta earned positive reviews on MacStories.net, and got featured in French monthly magazine VVMac, which helped it gain popularity in the world of music collectors.

From then on, my main focus became music-centric apps on the mac.

Later, I built the very niche but beloved 106 Editor which is a Librarian for an old hardware synth from 1984', still widely loved in music studios around the world, namely the Roland Juno-106.

While building software is a major part of my life, I also enjoy producing pop-electronic music, climbing outdoors, skateboarding, and have gotten ridiculously good at baking sourdough bread.
