Want to keep certain references? Use archive. Handy for when you might want to try and recover the original music files, or simply ignore a few.
Clean Up Safely
The first time you clean up, macOS will ask for permission to let Music Cleaner control the Music app. Then, progress will report when chunks of files have been removed.
